A flashback of 2011:
January: Ben and I throw a party to ring in the new year
April: Strolled on down to Tennessee to see the Grand Old Opry and rock climbing along the riverbank
May: Took a ten-day road trip to South Dakota {with stops in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Iowa} / rock climbing weekend in Kentucky / endless summer cookouts
June: We plant our first garden! {which takes up the entire yard – beginners luck.}
July: I got my first real bike as a present from Ben! Scoot around town most of July/ searched for shipwrecks and lighthouses along the shore of Lake Superior near Pictured Rocks in Munising, MI {Upper Peninsula} / I’m a guest blogger for Pure Michigan! / spent a weekend with best friends at a cottage on Lake Michigan
September: Head north to Copper Harbor, MI {Upper Peninsula} with a full itinerary of recommendations from Jesse Land of Things to Do in the U.P. / attend the Fireman’s Memorial in Grayling, MI
October: spend a weekend in a log cabin rock climbing in the Red River Gorge
December: I make my new years resolutions / we get our 2nd Christmas tree / my first guest blog over at The Rebel Experiment /our best friends get engaged!
If 2011 taught me one thing it’s this: never give up. Happy New Year!
