We have wood coming out of our ears over here. I swear it’s a plan to secretly be ready in case we have another end of the world-2000 kinda moment.
Stacking wood, fetching wood, tending the wood, it’s all in a day’s work. I have a whole new appreciation for my ancestors. You guys rock.
Besides stacking wood {and dressing up the dog in puppy pj’s from Target}, I’m getting antsy to see family and friends who are coming into town. Please remember to tell the people in your life you love them, and pray for those who have lost. Happy holidays!
Oh! Some great news — I’ll be guest posting this week for Emily of The Rebel Experiment. Keep your eyes peeled!

I see your puppy’s getting all trained up for the great firewood just in case lol!
I hear you about having more appreciation and respect for our ancestors….we have a newish woodstove, and I cannot believe HOW MUCH WORK is necessary to keep that thing running. Lovely pics!
Such a cute post! P.s. I love the pictures of the wood, so rustic. I’m a Canadian girl so I love staying warm in the freezing winters!
