You ever have one of those weeks? You know, the one where you decide to get up a whole ten minutes early to make coffee, only to have it spill down the front of your carefully planned out outfit? Or taking initiative to network with professionals in your area, only to get rear-ended five miles from your destination by a woman who doesn’t speak English whose breaks decided to protest? Or maybe when you finally accomplish something so important to you and someone that is supposed to be close to you doesn’t seem to care?
Welcome to my week.
But life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. Oh, no, it doesn’t.
Life intervenes and the best you can do is hold your head high and keep moving. Don’t you stop.
Think of all the things you have to be thankful for. And boy, do I have a lot. Then, I lean on my go-to instant mood pick-me-uppers. What are yours? Mine include impulsive shopping, consuming mass amounts of ice cream (Yup, I’m that girl), hard work out sessions, or what I did yesterday, taking a mid-afternoon stroll to capture some of life’s little beauties.

P.S.- I have some exciting news! I was a featured blogger for Pure Michigan. Check out my article here.
I have loved reading all the great comments from my Michiganders.
Thanks for all of the love!
